I had an interesting reading this week where a male client's brother came through with a message for him.
The first thing I got from his brother was the word "busted". I thought, well that's a weird thing for him to be saying... but I passed along the first word that this guy has ever heard from his brother since his passing.
Thankfully, he laughed and said well, that sounds like him. He was a smart mouth and he had some troubles with the law. So that makes sense.
His brother went on to show me my client sitting on a custom chopper motorcycle and told me that this was his much older brother and that he looked up to him - even though he tried to hide it - by being a smart mouth and a constant trickster.
He also mentioned that he loves to play football... but not the kind of American football- he loved to play soccer while he lived in Europe and naturally started using the European moniker for soccer. He also told me that his brother (my client) considered him to be opinionated which my client laughed at and nodded his head about.
He went on to give me more validations that my client had no doubt that this was indeed his brother that we were talking to.
His brother wanted to talk to him about his health. He described to me that my client (whom I was speaking with via phone and had never met) was not well health wise. He described that his brother had trouble walking and standing up straight. And that he had some other problems (that were not related) as well.
He showed me his brother spending months using physical therapy equipment to get to the physical fitness level he is now.
This was all validated by my client.
His brother then showed me some exercise equipment and told me to tell him that if he would continue to use this equipment for another 6-8 months he would be able to walk again.
Then he showed me my client taking a trip and walking upright, with no pain and with relative ease.
He went on to show me a beautiful place near the French Alps that his brother would be visiting next summer. And it turns out that this is a favorite place of my clients and he was wondering if he would ever be able to travel there again.
According to his brother, he can and will be able to visit again. And he counting on coming along for the trip as well!
It was important for my client's brother to come through because he says that my client is getting tired of the grueling routine and depressed about how long his recovery has taken and that he isn't nearly where he thought he would be physically.
His brother is here to tell him that there is hope and that he will be better - in fact, much better that the prognosis calls for. But it will take time and effort. If he will put those two things together and continue to work at it... he will have much of his strength and mobility back.
What a gift from beyond.
To have hope and faith and you will be able to walk with ease again and to travel again to your favorite destinations.
His brother wasn't through though. He mentioned a sailing trip to take place in April or May of the next year.
And indeed, my client had planned on taking his sailboat for an extended sailing starting in April or May as those for the only months that were good for sailing to places he was planing on visiting. But as before, my client had given up his dream of sailing again due to his stalled rehabilitation.
No Worries brother he said. You will meet a new woman (he is currently single) and she will be your team mate on the boat and you will be able to go on your trip.
All you have to do is keep working on your physical fitness for the next 5 months and by next spring, you will be a new man!
