This is perhaps the most talked about of all the Astrological occurrences.
We have all been warned about computers failing, contracts going awry and mixed up communications happening during Mercury Retrograde.
But I'm here to tell you about the GOOD aspects of Mercury going retrograde and how to look forward to it and use it for your best interests!
M.R. (Mercury Retrograde) is the best time to GO BACK and get things done that you haven't been able to do.
Got a project that has stalled.... this is the time to go back to it and focus on it.
Once I figured out how easy it was to finish old projects during M.R., now I schedule time to drag out any unfinished business and give it my attention and energy during this time.
And more often than not, they get resolved, finished or at least get some new action that propels the project along to a new and better place.
I learned this when I had all of my electronics crash one M.R. a few years ago. Since I couldn't do much else, I turned to a year old project of adding onto a cottage on my property.
I know, it sounds like I live in a fairy tale... having a cottage and all.
But truthfully, the cottage was a old wooden shed that I converted into a "cottage" by adding a porch and painting the exterior sunny yellow, my version of Cheryl's She Shed..lol.
It worked out pretty well and it became my office. However, I decided I needed a bathroom and another room added on.
Seemed simple enough... right?
I had done many restorations before, so this wasn't a big deal to me.
Boy, was I wrong this time!
Over the course of two months, I hired and fired three different contractors before I even had the first walls put up!
I have never had to fire a contractor before (much less three), so this seemed very strange to me and I decided to out the whole project on hold.
Lo and behold, here comes Mercury Retrograde and with my computers down... I decided to take another look at the cottage addition.
This time, I got the right contractor and he had the addition almost complete before Mercury Retrograde was over!
I was gobsmacked at how easy it was all of a sudden to get this addition done!
I wondered how this could be so easy all of a sudden.
Something wasn't adding up.
Then I read about the other influences of Mercury Retrograde... which are focused on the RE part of Retrograde.
This is a great time to RE focus on old projects and get a chance at a REdo.
I still take precautions with electronics, communications and try to let everyone have extra space and not take anything too personally during Mercury Retrogrades... but I also go back to all those irritating things and projects that I just can't seem to get finished or resolved and send more of my time using this "retrograde redo" energy to fix or clear them up!
And it works more often than not.
