There are as many differences in readings as there are in pets and people! When we give people readings, we use many cues and clues that we are familiar with.
Humans and pets both feel emotions like happiness, grief, anger, sadness etc. and you can tap into those from your pet and understand it.
But there are other things we can’t understand… like the drive to chase and catch prey or the glorious feelings of smelling where dogs have peed!

When we connect to people in a psychic reading, we don't use our psychic smelling abilities as much as we would when we are connecting to a pet. That's because they use their sense of smell all the time and it is an important part of their lives.
That must be why when I connect to cats and dogs in spirit for their owner, they often comment on the SMELL of the other animals still living in the house. They often say, that new dog is really stinky! Which cracks me up because they were probably pretty stinky themselves.
There are other differences as you might imagine, people are more concerned with relationships, work, money their health and the like.
Pets are more interested in the "simpler things in life" like a comfy bed, how they like their food and most importantly having fun.
We use the same psychic senses to connect to pets and to humans, but the messages are very different. Just as important, but unique to the energy coming through.
